After about a year of use, I have been very happy with the SunGoldPower FR12K-B. With 12 KW of power, it powers most of my homes circuits. No major issues except a small software bug that forced me to restart a couple times. There was an update sent via the wifi dongle and I haven't had a issue since. I really like the built in breakers and and secondary output capability. Support has been good as emails are always answered within 24 hours.

product has worked excellent. i've been charging my electric vehicle and running a mini split in the garage off it for several months now. Without incident.

...paid to do. 1.5 years in, charging and discharging 70 to 80 percent per day. Product looks like quality, feels like quality and mounts to the wall with exceptional mounting hardware, all included. I have 14 of them and they are all working identically. They arrived with slightly different firmware but the performance is identical after a few hundred cycles.

I have two of these in parallel split phase. Generator input is connected to utilities and setup for charging when batteries get to 10%. Provides power for 5ton HVAC and pool pump/vaccume. I have operated a car lift while HVAC, pool, stove and range were all operating. Had to install soft start on the HVAC compressor as even with 2 of these inverters they could not handle the HVAC by itself. iphone app works well and has good today/past information display. I wish that it would have a cost calculator but maybe I only care about this in the first year of usage. Was able to use homebridge and AI to build something that logged into the website and pulled data to have automation based on the data I have access to. Build Quality: The product is solid and paint and fitment is good. The choice of an oval knockouts for the access to have conduit go to the electrical/solar is an odd one as there are no oval conduits. The spacing from conduit to the terminal does not allow for easy install. The conduit hole size is small given that 6AWG wires have to go into it. The terminal connectors however are another story. I received one of these from amazon which had a stripped terminal, it would never screw down at all (I didnt manhandle it) and amazon replaced it, sending someone to pick up the package. After moving these two I have to another location another terminal screw stripped (using a torque screwdriver to ensure I didnt over torque) Reliability: I have not had to in normal service do anything to these other than vacuum the dust filters. There is however a problem stated below related to odd-situation usage. Ease of Install Just like everything else it is heavy. The top mounting screws allow you to mount it on the wall easy after getting screws aligned. It would have been useful to have a paper template in the box for drawing out the holes on the wall. It is weird/odd that the hole pattern on top does not match on bottom, basically ensuring that only 1 of the screws could go into a stud. Would be interesting to see the hole pattern be 16" on center. Problems: 1. if you have the ability to switch to utility power (I have a transfer switch) and there is no load on the inverters in parallel, one will get a bit angry and stop and start charging from solar complaining that they dont really sense the load properly. If you apply a load 50% of the time it will still refuse to charge from solar, you have to restart the unit. I have never seen this happen when always having a load connected. 2. with utility connected to the generator port it will always pull idle power from utility instead of battery when the solar is not generating power. I would like the generator/utilities to never pull power unless I have set for it to pull power from utilities. Looking to hook up a contactor to the dry contacts to turn on and off power to the generator port if I dont find a solution with the manufacturer Would I buy another one of these: yes What would I buy if I had the money: victron
