I have two of these running in parallel in my 50A RV and in my opinion they are perfect for a rig like mine. Running two of these in parallel gives me 4800 total watts available when inverting which is more than enough 95% of the time. The thing i really appreciate about this model is the seamless operation when moving between a single phase input like a 30A rv plug to a split phase connection like a 50A rv plug and that the entire 4800W is available to either leg of the 50A panel vs using 2 120v models where you would have 2400 per line and overloading is more of a possibility if you are running two high draw appliances on the same line. I also really appreciate the power assist feature. It has enables us to stay in 30A parks in the heat of summer and still be able to run all three of our A/C units. Once the inverter senses your draw is near or over the 30A limit it inverts and kicks in the extra power needed. Yes this draws down the batteries but they will recharge off solar if you have it and once the load drops down below 3600W it will charge them again. This function and the "ecosystem" of components that work together is really what separates Victron from everyone else in the RV world.

DYI install February 2025. Split phase configuration with 6 x Pytes V.5 batteries, Cerbo GX and EG4 Chargeverter. System has been rock solid with no issues.

Simple installation and configuration using the inbuilt Victron Connect and connection to the VRM cloud platform. The system has performed continuously for the six months to date and is working well with the 2 x Pylontech US5000 batteries. The system did lose connection with the Victron MPPT once, but this cleared with a GX reset and hasn't been a problem since I updated the MPPT firmware. Multiplus II has lots of options available but many aren't used in my off-grid set-up.

When designing our RV electrical upgrade, the Lynx Distributor stood out as a simple, cost-effective solution for bus bars and fuses, in a relatively small footprint. It provides four Mega-fused positive circuits along with four ground connections, and the bus bar ends can be used as main power and ground connections. The bus bars have high amperage capacity and they integrate nicely with a battery switch. The Lynx is designed as a component that bolts directly to other Victron devices, but it functions perfectly on its own if you make one small addition. The indicator LEDs for the fuses are not powered if the Lynx is used as a standalone device, but instructions for adding the required wiring to power them are available on YouTube. It's simple and inexpensive. Overall, the build quality is excellent. However, here are a couple of suggested improvements: 1 - It should come with fully-functional LED wiring for standalone use. At a minimum, Victron should offer it as an option/accessory. 2 - It would be nice if it had knobs instead of screws on the cover, given that it contains fuses that may need to be replaced. In the tight confines of my installation, screws won't work, and I ended up making my own knobs. I definitely recommend the Lynx Distributor and would buy it again if I have a need. I purchased it from InvertersRUs (https://invertersrus.com/), a large Victron distributor/retailer in the US.

I used three Quattro-II units to build out a 3-phase system, and the hardware definitely lives up to the reputation. Setting up 3-phase power usually introduces a lot of configuration headaches, but Victron’s VEConfigure software made the phase synchronization straightforward. Getting the master and followers properly mapped and communicating took a fraction of the time I expected compared to other platforms. The UI isn't flashy, but it’s functional and lets you dial in specific charging profiles, set up assistants, and configure grid-parallel settings without any guesswork. Terminal blocks inside the chassis also offer plenty of room, making the heavy-gauge AC and DC wiring manageable.Performance-wise, the system has been completely stable since commissioning. It handles high inrush currents and unbalanced loads across the phases without throwing faults or overheating. The dual AC inputs switch over between the grid and generator seamlessly under load, maintaining a clean sine wave without dropping sensitive electronics. It’s an expensive investment upfront, but the build quality, predictable firmware, and detailed remote monitoring via a Cerbo GX and the VRM portal make it worth the cost for a complex multi-inverter build. Getting the inverters to communicate with the batteries is also easy; just a matter of plugging in the CAN cable and the battery will show up in the Cerbo GX. For this kind of set-up, the Cerbo GX addition is highly recommended.
