I have a pair of HESP48120U200-H inverters (white label version SEI-12K-UP) with one in service 14 months. The other is my emergency spare. The working inverter is easily connected to batteries, grid, solar panels, and UPS loads. I have it powering a breaker panel in my all-electric tiny house. I've used it to power a 240 volt table saw, 10 kw EV charger, lights, fans, and all other normal loads. My list of loads include EV charger, well pump, cook stove, heat pump water heater, heat pump mini split, washer/dryer, refrigerator, upright freezer, microwave, air fryer, lights, fans, dishwasher, etc. This inverter is rated for 100% output at 240 volts with up to 200% output for a few seconds (for large motor starting). It has the typical limit that it can only output power if battery capacity, solar panel capacity, or both are available. When I first connected it, I had a single battery on the inverter and turned on my table saw to cut a very large piece of wood. The load exceeded capacity from the battery which forced the inverter to shut down. This is exactly what the inverter should do! In other words, it worked exactly as expected. Positives: It has worked for 14 months with zero issues so far providing power to a range of large tools and has charged my EV dozens of times. Output is high enough to pull my entire tiny house plus the EV charger, but don't take that too far. My tiny house is designed to use 20 kWh/day or less. The EV charger can easily pull 40 or 50 kWh/day. Negatives: 12 kw is not quite enough for a large house pulling 40 or more kWh/day plus an EV charger at 10 kw continuous. If you need full house plus EV, a pair of these inverters should be able to carry the load. Weight is 42 kg (93 pounds) which I was able to wall mount with few issues. At full load, fan noise is fairly loud. I recommend installing where the noise won't be disruptive. This is NOT even close to as loud as some comparable inverters I've seen! Startup is simple. Turn on the battery breakers (at the battery too if needed), turn on the PV switch on the side, turn on the inverter using the button on the bottom right rear (under the inverter), and turn on the output breakers.

I installed this inverter August 2025 and turned it up with a single battery. It has worked with no issues since installed. Setup was relatively easy with one exception which was selecting the BMS type. My battery (Yilink WS48300 LFP15 uses SMK) does not state which BMS it uses. I found by trial and error that SMK works. Overall impression of this inverter is that it is a solid performer for a tiny house like mine. For a full size house, either 2 inverters (for redundancy) or a single larger inverter would be a better choice.
