This Vatrer 5120Wh server battery has worked flawlessly in my DIY-installed home off-grid solar power system since its delivery May 18, 2026 from a US warehouse of Aliexpress. Build and finish are near 100% to my eyes, very comparable to two EG4-LL server batteries I'm using. Tough case that fits tightly. The handles, switches, and cable junctions work well, although the clear plastic junction bolt shields are flimsy (a common occurrence). I can't do a capacity test, but its builtin metering screen continues to report robust battery functions over the five months of usage. The Bluetooth app is useful, but generally just repeats what's on the builtin screen, no harm done. I'm using it via the AGM/Lead control settings on my 120/240V EG4 6000EX-48HV inverter/charger. So judging by its behavior so far, I believe it's built with Grade A cells.

Full review / responsesLong time selection resulted in a Vatrer self heated as it will need to be used during wither trips. so far well received. The cells are balanced well, 0.005V max difference. the app is kind of fancy and says pretty much just the current soc and cells voltages. But OK. My biggest finding is the fact that the BT must be enabled manually whenever I want to read the battery status so it cant be used for permanent continuous soc monitoring. but smart shunt should help here. my first big battery, I am happy. the build quality seems great and I trust the reviews that also inisde it is well built.

Full review / responsesEasy to install, they have provided the power as promised (not officially tested, just real world tested) We have 4 of these that are powering our remote home that only has solar and a backup generator, no utility service. It supplied our AC/Heat and electronics. One issue I do not like is the display charge is not correct, so we use our Victron equipment to have a better SOC reading. They have been in service for about 1 year.
